  • Walk through Salona, the former small port of Ilyrian tribe, and later the capital of the Roman Province of Dalmatia.
  • Explore Trogir, located on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island Čiovo
  • Visit a variety of shops or dine at a local restaurant to partake in the area's culinary specialties

TROGIR, a typical Dalmatian stone town, situated on a little island in the middle of a canal formed by main shore and island Čiovo, is the oldest urban settlement in the central Dalmatian region.

Starting with the Greek and Roman eras, every epoch left some marks on its appearance, making Trogir a unique historical blend of monuments and art.

The charm of Trogir is easily felt in every single stone street, on every noble family palace inside its walls; every bell tower tells its own story...

SALONA is a very special archaeological site, due to its very unusual destiny. Namely, the biggest Roman city of the whole area, with around 60.000 inhabitants at the highest of its power, massive stone walls, forum with great temples, amphitheater, theater, early christian basilicas, sophisticated sewage and street systems were completely devastated in Avar and Slavic raid in the early 7th century. As opposed to numerous sites hit by similar destiny, Salona never got inhabited afterwards, thus for centuries covered under soil, debris and grass.

The excavations started at the beginning of last century, still undergoing, and as it looks now, it will be a never-ending story. Literally, wherever you start digging, something is found!

So join us on this amazing trip through history and experience the life of our ancestors!

Value for money 5* GuidValue for money 5* Guide very knowledgeable: history; geography; geology; socio-economic perspectives and skilled at presentation to make everything we saw and did on the tour most enjoyable. The organisational aspects of the tour company, from the booking administrator in the office to quality of transportation and timings were faultless. Fully recommend this tour company. Kevine
We found the agency just walking through Diocletian's Palace and signed up for the Krka trip! It was really well organised and the coach journey was very pleasant! The highlight was our tour guide Dean! He was very friendly and enthusiastic; he gave enough information but left us to have our own free time! In the Krka park you have plenty of time to explore before going to Sibenik! In Sibenik definitely follow Dean around the town as he told us some interesting facts about the area! Overall for the price of the tour I think you get real value for money and get to see some beautiful parts of the Dalmatian Coast in a day trip! Would recommend!

Did two trips with Splitlicious a month ago and have only great words about this guys. Both trips were well organized with very friendly and informative guides. National parks Krka and Plitvice are must-visit places, a bit crowded but beautiful. Highly recommending the parks and Splitlicious.

OGI was my guide and he was GREAT. So friendly. His passion for Croatia was contagious. He spoke throughout the drive to the falls about interesting historical facts, but not too much that it ever became boring. We went in a small van just 6 people so the tour was very personalized. The falls were beyond imagination. A site everyone MUST see. We spent just enough time there. Krka is gorgeous and this company is great to work with.

Splitlicious was excellent on the accommodation provided for a solo traveler and also the assistance with local venues and tours. From what I heard from other people that I met, I feel very fortunate to have found such an excellent company with exceptional assistance like Augie and tour guide Martin. Good luck to Splitlicious! It is very competitive in Split for tour companies...Splitlicious acts as an agent to some of the best tour companies in Split; allowing you to rest assured you are going to be happy with your travel/tour plans! Pick Splitlicious over any company!
We booked a tour to Dubrovnik from Split. The bus was approximately an 18 seater. We had a nice time and the tour was very informative. I would recommend this tour Company. Very reasonable too! Our hotel host recommended this tour company to us, and we Will definitely book many excursions from them in the future.

My friend and I booked our Plitvice Lakes excursion through Splitlicious and had a fantastic time. It was a smaller group tour and our tour guides were incredible. The office staff was very friendly and helpful in giving us directions and recommendations for Split. When I return to Split, which will hopefully be sooner rather than later I will definitely use Splitlicious again!
The staff was very nice and convenient with us. They make everything they could so that we could enjoy our excursion. We went to Plitvice Lakes with a great guide in a small group of 8 people which allow us to enjoy it even better. Our day was absolutely fabulous thanks to Splitlicious and moreover for a very competitive price compared to other agencies. Splitlicious is a qualitative and friendly agency that I would totaly recommend.
